The Desk
We have an office for Prana Power Yoga in the third floor of our home—it’s “our attic office.” I say “our” because my husband ostensibly shares it with me, but truth be told, he actually does all of his work out of the kitchen on his lap top.
Now he would disagree, and say his intention is to work in the attic, alongside his wife. But the reality is, it ain’t-a-happenin.
Nevertheless, “his” desk continued to fill the attic office space—covering a huge gorgeous window and lots of light. I kept visualizing what the office would look like without the desk—with all the light pouring in from the beautiful window. And every once in awhile I would suggest to my family—with much enthusiasm—moving my husband’s desk and computer down to our ten-year-old daughter’s room, who was thrilled with the idea.
Nope. He wanted that desk to stay in the attic office.
Now, I teach all about letting go and going with the flow and trying easy, and I do walk my talk.
So I let it go.
But still, my spirit would visualize. I saw that window all clear. I saw the space opened up. I saw the increased energy in the room with less “stuff” around.
Two days ago, my husband announced that I would be happy, because “the desk” was going to Prana Winchester, our fourth studio which we are opening in about a week.
Since our contractor has yet to build the desk he promised us for Prana Cambridge (which opened in seven months ago), it seems pretty clear that a desk for Winchester is not in the near future.
So off Philippe’s desk went!! To Prana Winchester with love and joy.
You never quite know when or how you wish will be granted.
So visualize—a lot, breathe, and know it’s going to happen—somehow and someway.
And you don’t need to know how.

LOVE THIS!!!
In fact,I am going to visualize Dave cleaning the basement! REALLY cleaning it (I know…let go…breathe…) not just stuffing stuff under the sofa and telling me that playrooms are supposed to be messy! LOL! Bless his heart for being so chill! LOL!!!!

See? Now that works! The desk does belong in your home and you STILL get the office of your dreams!
Congrats on the new desk and the new studio! Winchester is a great city that I know well! Dave’s grandma lives there and we see her quite a bit!
